NDIS - Therapeutic Support
Therapeutic services offered by Ultimate Cares are in accordance with an individual’s NDIS plan, which is developed with adetailed assessment. The plan outlines the therapeutic support and services required for beneficiaries to improve their quality of life. The availability and scope of therapeutic support services vary depending on the beneficiaries’ needs and the recommendations of healthcare professionals. NDIS dependents work closely with our therapists, support coordinators, and health professionals to determine the appropriate therapy and interventions that best suit their specific challenges to achieve the desired outcomes.
NDIS Assessments
A simplified explanation of the specialised assessments we offer:
Cognitive Assessments :These assessments help us understand how well someone thinks and learns. They help families and support networks see a person’s strengths, areas where they may need help, and how they learn best. Besides, they guide us in suggesting appropriate support now and in the future.
Adaptive Functioning Assessments: These assessments show us how a person’s disability affects their life in different areas. It reveals a person’s strengths and where they might need extra help. They guide us in recommending necessary support for now and later.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessments: Autistic assessments check how well someone functions, especially in social situations, and if they show behavioural patterns. It helps us diagnose autism based on guidelines. In addition, to guiding us in suggesting the appropriate support for now and in the future.
Behaviour Support Assessments: These assessments give us a thorough look at a person’s behavioural support needs. Our experienced practitioners use these assessments to make evidence-based recommendations for behaviour support. It also helps us review the use of restrictive practices and recommend necessary support for therapeutic treatment.
